We stayed in the car park in our motorhome and had a meal here. I had fish and chips. It was absolutely lovely. Piping hot and very tasty. I generally remove the batter from fish and chips as its often soggy. This was thin, crisp and delicious. My peas were sweet and the chips crisp and hot. My fish was a really good fillet so my husband had to help me. Husband had scampi and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. My cider was lovely and my husbsnd really liked his local beer. We would definitely come again.
A wet Monday eve in Jan. The landlord and wife were perfectly amenable. Beautifully cooked fish chips and peas were delicious. Local Welsh ale lovely. Quirky pub with classic rock music playing in the background. Certainly not a pub for those with their noses in the air.
Lovely little pub, dog friendly too. We ordered takeaway food from the menu one evening. I had fish and chips and I can say it was the best I've ever had from a pub. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the prices are very good. Staff lovely too
Food is tasty and made to order Prices are competitive and dogs are welcome too We’ve always felt at home here and have bought our children and teens to the pub happily As for cleanliness? We ate here 8 days ago (2nd July) the staff were cleaning the bar whilst taking our food order I’m a little surprised at some of the other reviews so have felt compelled to share our positive experiences over the years
We always call here as we bring our tourer down begining and towards the end of the season. We always get a warm welcome and the food is lovely. They pour a cracking pint of Madri. As to the reviews of the Land lady I totally disagree. She is lovely. She even made is food once after the kitchen closed. We had arrived late to site and she fed us. You cant ask for better. First thing we do after setting up is head hear. Such a cossy setting. 5 stars from us Han and Dai xx

We had a drink here in the afternoon and booked a table for food in the evening as we liked the place and all the features. The food was excellent and great size portions.It came out of kitchen piping hot, couldn't fault a thing. We will definately be back here. Thanks
